The job board for people who read the posting twice.
Postings started in 2019 in a Chicago coworking space, after our founders spent a combined eleven years running recruiting at mid-size software companies and got tired of the same two failures: postings that said nothing, and applications that went nowhere. The fix we bet on was almost embarrassingly simple — make employers write real postings, show the salary, and close the posting when the window ends.
Seven years later, that's still the whole product. Around 25,000 hires have been made through the board. We're a team of 41 across Chicago, Denver, and wherever our remote folks happen to be this month. We're profitable, employer-funded, and we do not sell candidate data. Ever.
What we believe
- A salary range is not a trade secret.
- An expired posting should say so — loudly, with an HTTP status code even.
- Four good application questions beat a 40-field form.
- Ghost jobs are a tax on everyone's attention. We delist them.
