About Mintbook
Mintbook builds accounting and invoicing software for small businesses and independent bookkeepers, with automated bank reconciliation and a tax-prep handoff feature that exports directly to formats used by major tax filing services. Mintbook currently serves more than 85,000 small businesses, and roughly a third of our customer base is referred to us directly by independent bookkeepers and accountants who use our practice management tools. The company was built around the idea that most small business accounting software is designed for accountants first and business owners second, which we set out to reverse. Our support team includes several former bookkeepers who can walk a customer through a reconciliation problem on the phone rather than routing them to a help article. We're based in New York with a growing support office in Phoenix.
