About Tidewatt Energy
Tidewatt Energy designs and finances commercial battery storage systems paired with rooftop and ground-mount solar for mid-size manufacturers, school districts, and municipal utilities across the Pacific Northwest. Our storage systems currently manage over 340 megawatt-hours of capacity, and our software lets facility managers shift load away from peak pricing windows automatically rather than through manual scheduling. Tidewatt was founded by two engineers who worked on grid interconnection at a regional utility and got frustrated watching good solar projects die in financing. We typically work directly with facilities directors and sustainability officers, structuring most projects with no upfront capital cost in exchange for a share of the energy savings. Our installation crews are based out of Seattle but travel throughout Washington, Oregon, and Idaho.
