We need someone to make sure what we ship actually works, and to build the automated coverage that catches regressions before customers do. You'll design test frameworks, write end-to-end suites, and work with engineers to bake quality into the development process rather than bolting it on at the end. Some manual exploratory testing too, because automation doesn't catch everything, and we'd rather find the weird edge case ourselves than read about it in a support ticket.
What you'll do
- Design and maintain automated test suites using Cypress or Playwright
- Build API-level test coverage for critical backend services
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines with fast, reliable feedback
- Perform exploratory and regression testing ahead of major releases
- Triage bugs, write clear reproduction steps, and track them to resolution
- Partner with engineers to improve testability of new features early
What we're looking for
- 3+ years in QA automation or software testing roles
- Hands-on experience with Cypress, Playwright, or Selenium
- Comfortable reading and writing JavaScript or Python test code
- Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines and test integration
- Strong attention to detail and clear bug-reporting habits
- Ability to prioritize test coverage under release deadlines
Nice to have
- Experience with performance or load testing tools
- Familiarity with mobile test automation frameworks
- Background working in an agile/scrum team environment
