This role leads a group of product managers across multiple related product areas, setting the overall vision and making sure individual roadmaps ladder up to something coherent. You'll coach PMs, represent product in executive conversations, and be the person who catches when two teams are quietly building the same thing twice, well before it turns into an awkward conversation in a planning review.
What you'll do
- Set vision and strategy across a group of related product areas
- Manage and coach a team of product managers on craft and career growth
- Ensure roadmaps across teams are aligned and free of duplicated effort
- Represent the product organization in executive and board-level discussions
- Partner with design and engineering leadership on org-wide planning
- Own quarterly planning and resourcing decisions across the group
What we're looking for
- 8+ years in product management including people management experience
- Track record of leading multiple product managers successfully
- Strong strategic thinking with the ability to zoom out and zoom in
- Experience presenting to executives and board members
- Excellent prioritization skills across competing team needs
- Demonstrated success shipping large, cross-functional initiatives
Nice to have
- Experience scaling a product org through a growth stage
- Background in both B2B and B2C product environments
- Direct experience with OKR-based planning processes
