We're hiring a financial analyst to support budgeting, forecasting, and the monthly reporting cycle that keeps leadership informed. You'll build and maintain financial models, dig into variances, and translate spreadsheet output into insights people outside finance can actually use. Excel fluency is non-negotiable here, and you should be comfortable defending your model's assumptions in a room full of people who all have opinions about them.
What you'll do
- Build and maintain financial models supporting budgeting and forecasting
- Prepare monthly variance analysis comparing actuals to budget
- Support the close process by reconciling key accounts and reports
- Partner with department leads on budget planning and tracking
- Create clear reporting packages and dashboards for leadership review
- Assist with ad hoc financial analysis for strategic decisions
What we're looking for
- 2+ years in financial analysis, FP&A, or a related finance role
- Advanced Excel skills including modeling and pivot tables
- Familiarity with an ERP or accounting system such as NetSuite
- Strong attention to detail and comfort with recurring deadlines
- Solid understanding of core financial statements
- Clear communicator able to explain numbers to non-finance stakeholders
Nice to have
- Experience with a BI tool such as Tableau or Looker for reporting
- Background in a SaaS or subscription revenue business
- Progress toward CFA or similar professional certification
