Product Marketing Manager, Lifecycle

San Francisco, CAFull-timehybrid$135K – $168K / yrPosted 2026-07-02

We're hiring a product marketing manager to own positioning, messaging, and go-to-market for our product lines. You'll be the connective tissue between product, sales, and marketing, making sure every launch has a clear story and every seller has the materials they need. Strong storytelling and cross-functional influence are both essential here, since you'll spend as much time in a sales kickoff as you do in a positioning doc.

What you'll do

  • Develop positioning and messaging for new features and product launches
  • Own go-to-market planning in partnership with product and sales
  • Create sales enablement materials including battlecards and decks
  • Conduct competitive analysis and keep positioning current against the market
  • Partner with content marketing on launch collateral and campaigns
  • Gather customer and sales feedback to refine messaging over time

What we're looking for

  • 4+ years in product marketing at a B2B software company
  • Strong writing skills for messaging, positioning, and sales content
  • Experience running go-to-market plans for product launches
  • Comfortable presenting to sales teams and executive stakeholders
  • Analytical enough to use win/loss and usage data to inform strategy
  • Ability to manage multiple launches on overlapping timelines

Nice to have

  • Experience in a competitive, fast-moving market segment
  • Background partnering closely with sales enablement teams
  • Familiarity with tools like Highspot or Seismic
