We're hiring a data analyst to help teams across the company make decisions based on evidence instead of hunches. You'll write SQL queries, build dashboards, and translate messy questions into clear, defensible answers. Curiosity matters as much as technical skill — we want someone who asks why the numbers look weird instead of just reporting them and moving on to the next request.
What you'll do
- Write SQL queries to answer ad hoc business questions from stakeholders
- Build and maintain dashboards in Looker or Tableau for key metrics
- Partner with product and marketing teams to define and track KPIs
- Investigate data anomalies and identify root causes before reporting out
- Present analysis findings clearly to non-technical stakeholders
- Support experiment analysis and help interpret A/B test results
What we're looking for
- 2+ years in a data analyst or business analyst role
- Strong SQL skills including joins, window functions, and aggregations
- Experience building dashboards in Looker, Tableau, or similar tools
- Comfortable working with ambiguous business questions
- Basic statistics knowledge for interpreting experiment results
- Clear communicator who can explain data findings simply
Nice to have
- Experience with Python or R for deeper statistical analysis
- Familiarity with dbt or other data transformation tools
- Background working in a specific domain like finance or growth
