We need a people operations generalist to keep the employee lifecycle running smoothly, from onboarding paperwork to the annual benefits open enrollment scramble. This is a broad role touching HRIS data, compliance basics, and a fair number of employee questions that don't fit neatly into a policy doc. Organized, empathetic, and comfortable with ambiguity, since half the questions that land on your desk won't have a clean policy answer waiting for them.
What you'll do
- Manage onboarding and offboarding processes for all new hires and departures
- Maintain accurate employee records and data in Workday
- Support benefits administration including open enrollment coordination
- Answer employee questions on policies, benefits, and HR processes
- Assist with compliance tasks including required trainings and filings
- Support HR projects such as engagement surveys and policy updates
What we're looking for
- 2+ years in an HR or people operations generalist role
- Experience with an HRIS platform such as Workday or BambooHR
- Strong attention to detail managing sensitive employee data
- Good working knowledge of basic employment law and compliance
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a service-oriented mindset
- Comfortable juggling multiple ongoing projects and deadlines
Nice to have
- PHR or SHRM-CP certification, or actively pursuing one
- Experience supporting a multi-state or distributed workforce
- Background helping run engagement or culture initiatives
