We're hiring a frontend engineer to build the interfaces our customers use every single day. You'll work in React and TypeScript alongside designers to turn Figma files into fast, accessible, pixel-accurate UI. We care a lot about performance and a little less about which CSS framework you personally prefer, so come with opinions but stay flexible. You'll ship weekly, get fast feedback from real users, and have a real say in how the component library evolves over time.
What you'll do
- Build responsive, accessible UI components in React and TypeScript
- Translate Figma designs into production-ready components with attention to detail
- Optimize page load performance and Core Web Vitals across key user flows
- Write unit and integration tests using Jest and React Testing Library
- Collaborate with backend engineers to define and consume GraphQL or REST APIs
- Participate in design reviews to flag feasibility issues early
What we're looking for
- 3+ years of professional experience with React and modern JavaScript
- Solid grasp of TypeScript, CSS layout systems, and responsive design
- Experience working directly from Figma design specs
- Understanding of web accessibility standards (WCAG)
- Comfortable with Git-based workflows and code review
- Good communicator who can push back on designs constructively
Nice to have
- Experience with Next.js or another React meta-framework
- Familiarity with design systems and component libraries
- Basic understanding of backend API design
