As a full-stack engineer here you'll move across the whole stack, one week deep in a Postgres schema, the next wiring up a React form. We're a small-ish team so generalists who can ship features independently thrive here. You should be comfortable owning a feature from database to deployed UI without waiting on someone else to hand you the next piece.
What you'll do
- Ship features spanning React frontends and Node.js or Python backends
- Design database schemas and write efficient queries against PostgreSQL
- Build and maintain internal APIs consumed by web and mobile clients
- Write automated tests covering both frontend and backend logic
- Deploy changes through CI/CD pipelines and monitor post-release health
- Work directly with product and design on scoping new features
What we're looking for
- 4+ years shipping full-stack features in a production environment
- Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and at least one backend language
- Experience with relational databases and basic schema design
- Comfortable owning a feature from spec to production deploy
- Familiarity with cloud infrastructure such as AWS or GCP
- Pragmatic communicator who can flag scope creep early
Nice to have
- Experience with serverless architectures
- Exposure to mobile development (React Native or similar)
- Startup experience with rapidly changing requirements
